Importance of having faith in prayer:

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask in prayer. Mathew 21:22

If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, Be uprooted and planted in the sea and it will obey you. Luke 17:6

Story of Elijah praying for rain:

Elijah prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months, it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again and the heaven gave rain and the earth yielded its harvest.... 1 Kings 18:41-19:8

As Christians, we need to have faith and the expectation that He can do what He has said He''ll do.

So thank Him ahead for answering your prayers even before we see the answer.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24

God tells us to pray for our daily bread:

Give us this day our daily bread.... Mathew 6:11

There is nothing wrong with repeatedly asking God for the same thing. As long as what you are praying for is in the will of God.

You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions. James 4:3

Ask! Seek! Knock!

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks; the door will be opened.
